MOURN

Mourn is an experimental short film set in the transient state between day-to-day life and unexpected death.

It was a week like any other until bombs struck Beirut, Baghdad & Paris in quick succession. The short hopes to commemorate the men, women and children who lost their lives at the hands of hatred and intolerance.

And moreover, remind us of the commonality of man and thereby us to reconcile with others who have faced similar hardships regardless of race, creed or colour.

In the summer of 2012 I completed the Three Week Digital Film course at the New York Film Academy. The program provided me with the oppurtunity to collaborate with other young aspiring filmmakers. Escape and Entrpment were two of the resulting shorts.
